Winston-Salem Wedding Photographer
I had the pleasure of meeting Kate when we met up at Laurel Ridge for her bridal portraits. That day was a blast and I looked forward to her wedding to Kyle on July 5th. I had not met Kyle yet since he was in the service but of course found out what a great guy he was on the wedding day.
Their day started at Konnoak Hills Moravian Church where Kate's Father serves as a Revered. Kate got ready with her bridesmaids (& two sweet pups!) in her family home next door to the church. The house was filled with happiness as the girls were excited about the day. After they were ready we took some formals next to the church and then it was the guy's turn.
The guys gave me the serious picture I asked for and then I let them do whatever they please which turned out to be pretty fun and silly. For the dignity of all involved I kept the blog pictures fairly normal ;)
The ceremony was beautiful and the church was filled to capacity. Afterward we took family formals inside and a few bride and groom pictures outside next to the church. We kept this short since Kyle & Kate were ready to get to their party and celebrate!
The reception was held at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. It is a great versatile venue building downtown with some really cool windows that let in a lot of natural light which of course I love. The reception was festive and the food which was catered by Holly Tate Fine Catering looked amazing.
The cake was by Dewey's bakery and had the best topper, a custom one of Kyle, Kate and her sweet dog!
Everyone had fun dancing to the music which was provided by Mark at 815 Events. After the last dance Kyle and Kate exited to a formal military Arch of Sabers which completed their day perfectly.
