Reynolda Gardens Wedding Proposal

Darrin contacted me about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend Heather at Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem a couple of months back. The idea was to disguise the proposal as a family session for them and his sister and also content for Heather's blog. We decided that we would start with some normal pictures and then about halfway through we would head to the greenhouse and that would be his cue. Everything worked out beautifully and of course she said YES! 

The day was very cold and windy with the sun dipping behind the clouds off and on. These guys were troopers and you couldn't tell that they were actually freezing or that it was muddy and there was construction and improvements going on all around us. Darrin and Heather's little girl was just adorable and was a joy to photograph and capture running around. 

It is always an honor for me to be a photographer and be able to witness such beautiful moments like engagements, weddings, and births and document those memories for clients.
