Thomas and Emily's Downtown Winston-Salem Wedding

Thomas and Emily had originally planned to be married in 2020 and then of course Covid hit and like so many others it derailed their wedding plans. Fast forward to 2021 and although some plans had to be altered the couple still enjoyed an absolutely beautiful wedding day in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. It was my pleasure to be their wedding photographer and enjoyed capturing such a stunning day!

Emily and her girls got ready at The Shaffner Inn in Winston and we also did all her details and portraits at that same classic location. Thomas and the groomsmen got ready at the nearby Fairfield Inn. Planning and day of coordination was expertly executed by Charming Carolina Events and florals were courtesy of Green Bee Floral Designs. The couple's wedding ceremony took place at Corpening Plaza in front of the waterfall while guests were protected from the hot sun by a large white tent set up for the occasion. The bridal party was escorted by Triad Trolley to the reception venue at Footnote, the venue space at Foothills Brewing and Bookmarks.

The night came to an end with a sparkler exit and a horse and carriage to take Thomas and Emily away while family and guests waved goodbye on 4th street.
