Blue Ridge Parkway Mountain Top Engagement Session

Michael proposed to Lauren in the midst of the mountains at Pisgah so when it came time to choose an engagement session location it was an easy choice for them both. Lauren wanted to be surrounded by mountains with glorious views -  well we didn't get the views but I think I like the fog better! As I was driving towards our meeting spot down the parkway I was so anxious about the fact that it was foggy but then it would clear a minute or so later and I would feel relieved but then it would come back... As I reached our location it was covered in fog and I was a little dismayed. How are we supposed to have a beautiful engagement session if we are submerged in fog? I guess we found out because I am absolutely in love with these images.

Since we were hiking up I wanted to try to keep my gear at a minimum so the film images are shot with my 35mm camera with a 50mm lens. Film developing and scanning was done by Boutique Film Lab in TN and the film used was Fuji 400h.

Michael and Lauren will celebrate an Oct 2019 ceremony at St Leo's Catholic Church in Winston Salem and a reception at the beautiful Barn at Reynolda Village.
