I first met Ajay and Emily together at their engagement session last fall at the beautiful Eno River State Park. It was a lot colder than we had anticipated but they were a great couple and powered through and you'd never know they were freezing the whole time!

The year quickly went by and it was time for their wedding. I had such a great time with these guys, their love for each other is obvious as is their friendship. Surrounded by friends and family Ajay and Emily were married in a ceremony under the mill's chandeliers and enjoyed a night of dancing at their reception on the historic wood floors. 

Ajay and Emily held their wedding and reception at Melrose Knitting Mill in downtown Raleigh. Florals were by Dragonfly Florist, wedding dress was from NY Bride and Groom of Raleigh and the engagement ring came from Johnson's Jewelers of Raleigh. Julie Uhl was my amazing second shooter. 

The majority of these images were taken on film, I have digital versions of most of these and although the digital files may be technically better and more consistent I am in love with the richness and personality of film, the magicness of pressing a button on a black box with no immediate reward and getting gorgeous images a couple of weeks later. These were taken on a Canon 1n and film was processed and scanned by the Boutique Film Lab.
