Northern Michigan Summer Family Film Session

I needed a family or couple to practice my new film camera on last month and my sister put me in touch with Erin's sweet family! I travel to Michigan to visit my parents every summer and that seemed like a great time and place to set something up. Erin suggested they use their land behind their house and it worked perfectly and was gorgeous, I am always a sucker for rolling hills! She told me that they were married on that property so it holds a special place in their hearts. Erin is also expecting so we were able to sneak a few special maternity shots in. I am honored that I was able to capture this moment in their lives.

For the photography nerds: This session was taken all on film with the majority of images on a Canon 1n with Fuji 400h film. A couple of images are from a Pentax 645n but the camera ended up having mechanical issues and had to be returned so the majority of those images unfortunately were unusable. The film was processed and scanned by Boutique Film Lab.
