A Summer Day in Boone NC

This summer while big brother was in FL at Legoland for his 10th birthday with Dad I took the girls up to Boone to spend the day at some of our favorite places! We love taking drives along the Parkway and exploring in the creeks and trails and since it was a warm day it was perfect weather for that. I grabbed my film camera to document this fun little time but of course a two year old doesn't make things easy..ever...but I still managed to grab a few cute shots. 

Of course we had to make a stop at the original Mast General Store and the Annex to get candy and ice cream. Then we had a fun time in the Watauga River at the park in Valle Crucis, one of my favorite places to go with the kids. Someday I would love to take some gorgeous senior or engagement pictures there!

We ended our day with a delicious seafood meal in town and I had two little girls who slept very well that night.
