I've had the privilege of watching these two grow as a couple over the past 10 years from their engagement session to now. This is my sweet sister and brother in law and they when I had asked her if they would be willing to do a beach session with me she enthusiastically said yes! Our original plan was to do the Sleeping Bear Dunes on the other side of the state in April but the weather waylaid those plans and so our backup became this gorgeous beach in August and I couldn't be happier with the location. Michigan is such a great place for anything outdoors, so many beautiful lakes and rivers and natural areas. It is a photographer's dream!

These were taken right before and during sunset on film with a Pentax 645n and a Canon 1n. Film was mostly Fuji 400h developed and scanned by Boutique Film Lab.
