Winston-Salem Wedding Photographer
Since before I knew I could be a wedding photographer I knew I loved the southeast coast. I had visited Savannah, GA as a 15 year old Girl Scout and had been entranced by the mossy live oaks, beautiful homes and living history that is the East Coast. I have been to Savannah a few times since then, always enjoying the downtown river front and walking the city squares. I had only been to Charleston once so I had decided that I was going to take a weekend trip sometime in the spring of 2021.
When Lindsay contacted me about possibly being her wedding photographer her location and timing couldn't have been more perfect. Lindsay and Tom live in Charleston and wanted their engagement session downtown and I was more than happy to oblige. Since I already had a trip in the works it was the perfect weekend to sightsee and also scope out picture locations.
We started our session at the White Point Garden at Charleston's downtown southern end, near The Battery. We walked through the residential district stopping when we saw gorgeous light or unique portrait opportunities. The sun which was high and bright when we started quickly went behind clouds and our evening ended at the water with an overcast sky overlooking the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge and passing ships.
Tom and Lindsay will be getting married this September at Grand Highlands in Hendersonville, NC and I can't wait to capture their wedding day! They are the sweetest couple and so fun to work with. I know we will capture many beautiful moments that day just like we did at their engagement session.
